Asian central banks urged to keep interest rates on hold
Asian Development Bank (ADB) chief economist Changyong Rhee has urged policy-makers at Asian central banks to take a "wait and see" approach rather than adjusting interest rates policy at the present time.
"Across the region as a whole, this is not the time to loosen or tighten monetary policy, as such, though some countries might increase rates in view of elevated inflation. In the main, policymakers should take a wait and see approach in order to assess the ongoing eurozone crisis," Rhee told
