Praet places onus on governments to resolve sovereign debt crisis

Peter Praet, European Central Bank (ECB) executive board member, has joined a growing chorus of ECB officials saying the onus to resolve the sovereign debt crisis in Europe lies with governments following unprecedented action by the European Central Bank. "The responsibility for the resolution of the sovereign debt crisis rests with the governments of the euro area member states," he said.
