Lagarde stresses importance of firewalls
Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), on February 26 said work on implementing stronger global firewalls must continue.
In a statement following the G-20 finance ministers and central bank governors meeting in Mexico City, Lagarde explained what had been on the agenda for the discussions. "Over the last two days, we discussed the challenges facing the world economy and continued our deliberations over next steps and actions," she said.
