Vietnam and San Francisco Fed reflect on banking seminar


Dang Thanh Binh, a deputy governor at the State Bank of Vietnam, met with a delegation from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco earlier this month.

The Vietnamese central bank revealed on February 20 that the meeting had taken place four days earlier in Hanoi.

Kenneth Binning, vice-president of the Supervision and Risk Group at the San Fran Fed, met with the deputy governor. The two reflected on a seminar that the State Bank of Vietnam, in co-operation with the US Treasury, had organised
