Sarb’s Marcus laments ‘new phase’ in eurozone crisis


The South African Reserve Bank (Sarb) on Tuesday published its biannual Monetary Policy Review. The document reported rising inflation and a "hesitant" domestic economic recovery.

The last Monetary Policy Review was published in May 2011 and since then, "the prospects for global and domestic growth have deteriorated", the latest review said.
