Hungary seeks assistance from IMF
The Hungarian government looks set to mend relations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) after it agreed to a "new type of co-operation" with the Washington-based organisation.
In a statement released on Friday, Hungary's economy ministry said financial markets in Hungary had been hindered by the protracted crisis of the eurozone, and to spur growth in the country it would have to utilise every instrument at its disposal.
