Robert Jenkins appointed to interim Financial Policy Committee
The Treasury Committee on Wednesday held a hearing with Robert Jenkins to discuss his appointment by the chancellor as an external member of the interim Financial Policy Committee (FPC) of the Court of the Bank of England.
Following the meeting, the committee released a statement that said it was "satisfied" that Jenkins "has the professional competence, commitment, and personal independence to be an external member of the interim Financial Policy Committee". The committee wished Jenkins "every
