UK reveals design of new banknote


A new-style £50 banknote featuring two 18th century business pioneers is set to be released in the UK in a month's time, the Bank of England announced on Friday.

Matthew Boulton, an entrepreneur, and James Watt, an engineer; both responsible for accelerating technological progress in the manufacturing of steam engines during the Industrial Revolution in the 18th and 19th centuries, will feature on the banknote.
