Estonia governor race narrows

On Tuesday, the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank decided that Ardo Hansson and Andres Sutt will continue to the final round of the election process to become the next governor of the central bank.

Two other candidates, Jürgen Ligi and Andres Tupits were dropped from the running after the supervisory board voted on their merits. In the first ballot Hansson received three votes, Ligi and Sutt both got two votes and Tupits only one vote. Tupits dropped out of competition. In the second round
