Finland supports Portuguese bailout; calls for international banking tax


Finnish prime minister-elect, Jyrki Katainen on Tuesday held talks with major political parties in Finland to decide the country's stance on a bailout package for Portugal. Katainen leads the conservative National Coalition Party, the largest party in parliament after last month's elections.

In a statement titled "Agreement between the National Coalition Party and the Social Democratic Party on the future EU policy of Finland," seen by, the two parties support the Portuguese
