China and US could 'step up' cooperation
China and the US could step up cooperation on financial reform and regulation, governor of the People's Bank of China, Zhou Xiaochuan, said on Monday, according to Xinhua, the Chinese government's official news agency.
"As China's central bank chief, I have great interest in and follow closely the macroeconomic situations in China, the US and globally," Zhou said at a press conference on the sidelines of the third-round China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue, which started on Monday.
