CNB to investigate energy company over early data release

The Czech National Bank on Friday said it was investigating the premature release of an earnings report by ČEZ Group, a Czech energy company, after it unexpectedly published its figures a number of days ahead of schedule.

Marek Petruš, a spokesperson at the Czech National Bank, said the central bank had been "informed" about the case and that experts were "analysing" the situation.

The financial results for 2010 were originally planned for release on February 28, with a conference call featuring
