Calomiris to join Bank as Houblon-Norman fellow
Charles Calomiris, a professor at Columbia University, is to begin a three-month stint at the Bank of England this week as a Houblon-Norman Senior Fellow.
Calomiris, who will join the Bank on Thursday, will research a variety of projects involving regulatory and financial research issues, in particular those surrounding the Bank's role as lender-of-last-resort.
