Irish central bank names advisers for stress test exercise

The Central Bank of Ireland on Thursday named three advisers that will assist it in performing stress tests on Irish banks planned later this year.

The central bank appointed BlackRock Solutions, an asset management firm, the Boston Consulting Group, a management consultancy, and Barclays Capital, an investment bank, to assist it in the Prudential Capital Assessment Review (PCAR) and Prudential Liquidity Assessment Review (PLAR) taking place in the first half of 2011.
