Honohan expects IMF loan for Ireland
Patrick Honohan, the governor of the Central Bank of Ireland, on Thursday said he expected the IMF to loan the country "tens of billions".
Honohan said in an interview with RTÉ, Ireland's state broadcaster: "The intention is, and the expectation is - on [the IMF's] part - and personally on my part - that negotiations or discussions will be effective and that a loan will be made available as necessary."
