Bank of Mexico to publish minutes of rate-setting meetings
The Bank of Mexico will publish minutes of its monetary policy meetings for the first time next year in a bid to provide the public with more clarity about how it sets interest rates.
A spokesperson at Bank of Mexico on Thursday told CentralBanking.com that the central bank will begin by publishing the minutes of their first monetary policy meeting for 2011 on 4 February.
This is two weeks after 21 January when the first meeting of the year is scheduled to be held.
