Basel Committee releases proposals for pay
The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision on Thursday released a report highlighting various methods to reduce risk taking by changing wage structures.
The report provided a picture of current pay practices and clarification on the design of risk-adjusted pay schemes. The report also discussed how incentive payments should be managed from their calculation through to their accrual, validation and pay-out stage.
