Indian officials to probe De La Rue plant
Indian officials are due to visit a De La Rue plant in the United Kingdom, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said on Tuesday, prompting further speculation that a recent paper fault that resulted in the departure of the banknote printer's chief executive involved the firm's contract with the RBI.
A spokesperson at the RBI said a delegation of Indian government officials had flown out to visit one of De La Rue's plants in Britain, though they declined to say which one or provide any further
