ECB handled Greek crisis well: CentralBanking.com readers

The European Central Bank (ECB) handled the Greek sovereign debt crisis well, a little more than 40% of respondents to a CentralBanking.com poll have said.

The poll, which went live at 12:51 in London on 30 April, attracted 158 voters, of whom 41.7% thought the ECB had done a good job in its response, given the circumstances.

The second largest share of the voters, accounting for 24.1%, said the ECB had handled the crisis poorly, illustrating the deep divide in opinion. A further 18.4% felt the
