Four candidates vie to head Bank of Thailand
Thailand's finance ministry was due to a receive a shortlist of candidates for the post of Bank of Thailand (BoT) governor on Friday, local media reported.
The Bangkok Post, an English language business newspaper, reported that a seven member screening committee appointed by Korn Chatikavanij, Thailand's finance minister, was set to whittle down the field of four candidates to two or three.
