Canada’s Carney praises ‘decisive’ ECB step


Mark Carney, the governor of the Bank of Canada, on Monday gave a ringing endorsement of the European Central Bank's (ECB) unprecedented and divisive entry into secondary markets.

In remarks confirmed by the central bank, Carney told the International Economic Forum of the Americas in Montreal that he had "entire confidence" in the ECB's foray into bond markets.
