US authorities reveal new souped-up $100 note
Officials from the US Treasury, the Federal Reserve and the Secret Service on Wednesday unveiled the new design for the iconic c-note note, replete with new security features.
The new design for the $100 note - which still features the face of Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the Unites States, and Independence Hall on the reverse - retains the traditional look.
