ECCB sued by Stanford investors


The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) on Tuesday was hit with a class-action lawsuit seeking compensation by former investors in the Stanford Financial Group, the failed group of financial services companies previously owned by Allen Stanford.

The Stanford Victims Coalition, an advocacy group for investors who lost money in what the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has alleged was a "massive Ponzi scheme", filed a class action lawsuit over the ECCB's handling of the Bank of Antigu
