Former Fed economist calls for more stimulus


A former associate director at the Federal Reserve has urged central bankers across the globe to step up their crisis-fighting efforts.

Joseph Gagnon, a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute who was up until September a visiting associate director at the Fed, in a research paper published in December labelled the recent focus on exit strategies "misguided".
