Czech’s Tuma to become next EU commissioner?

Zdenek Tuma, the governor of the Czech National Bank, could become the country's next European Union commissioner.

Tuma, who has almost one-and-a-half years to run on his current term, was nominated for the role of commissioner by Jan Fischer, the Czech Republic's prime minister at the weekend.
