Staff morale inquiry at BoE could take 6 months

An inquiry into ailing staff morale at Britain's central bank ought to be completed within six months, a member of its governing body said on Tuesday.

"It would be surprising if it was longer than six months before the report came back to the court," said Baroness Noakes, chairman of the sub-committee of non-executive members of the court of the Bank of England. The court, which monitors the work of the Bank of England, has brought in an outside company specialising in gauging employee opinions.
