Olson says Fed must stay alert on inflation

The U.S. economy is growing at a rate at which policymakers must pay attention to the possibility of inflation, Federal Reserve Governor Mark Olson said on Monday.

"We have seen some anecdotal indication of inflation and pricing power, but still not to the point where we can measure them," Olson said in response to questions after a speech at Georgetown University. "But it is a time to be alert to inflationary pressures."
