Argentina's peso firms

ARGENTINA - Argentina's peso has gained 10% against the US dollar on its second day as a free floating currency in a decade.

The US dollar closed at 1.95 pesos, down from 2.15 on Monday, further easing concerns the peso would suffer big falls this week, but heavy restrictions on currency trading kept volatility down.

Meanwhile, Economy Minister Jorge Remes Lenicov held get-to-know-you meetings with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the US Treasury, which an Argentine spokesman described
