Czech central bank concerned about external growth

A possible slowdown of Western European economies is identified as a risk to growth in the coming months, according to minutes released Tuesday by the Czech National Bank from the most recent policy meeting.

"The slight deterioration in external demand was indicated as a risk to future development," according to the minutes. "A wide range of indicators and new data pointed to a slowdown in economic activity for the Czech Republic's main business partners."

But the board did note that a slowdown
