ECB holds key interest rate unchanged at 3.25 pct

GERMANY - The European Central Bank left interest rates unchanged on Thursday, reinforcing expectations its easing cycle had ended with the euro zone economy now on track to recovery.

The ECB said in a statement it had kept the key minimum bid rate at its weekly refinancing auctions unchanged at 3.25 percent. All 50 economists in a Reuters poll last week said they expected the ECB to keep interest rates steady this week.
