Bank Negara unveils new anti-copy notes

Bank Negara Malaysia has unveiled its new RM10 notes which contain an anti-copy security feature in the form of a holographic strip on the front.

Assistant governor Datuk Mohamad Daud Dol Moin said the security feature, which is known as long-lasting economical anti-copy device (LEAD), was part of the central bank's continuous effort to maintain the high quality of the notes.

"We want to make any attempt to counterfeit them to the quality of genuine banknotes extremely difficult," he told
