Magistrate says T&T central bank filing 'archaic'

Chief Magistrate Sherman McNicolls said this week he was "really alarmed" by the record filing system at the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, the Trinidad and Tobago Express reported.

Documents relating to a court case currently being heard in Port of Spain could not be found, it was said.

Catherine Kumar, the Inspector of Financial Institutions at the central bank, was summoned to the enquiry to testify. She was ordered to bring two sets of documents relevant to the case concerning allegat
