Bush, Greenspan review economy over lunch

US - President Bush on Thursday hosted Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan for lunch to review the U.S. economic outlook following a second-quarter growth slowdown.

"It was a private meeting," White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said afterward. He told reporters the session lasted an hour but declined to give any specifics of their talks.
