Vietnam c bank governor has no bank account-media

VIETNAM - Vietnam's central bank Governor Le Duc Thuy, who is leading a campaign to reduce the country's reliance on cash transactions, has admitted he does not have a credit card, or a personal bank account.

"The fact we use cash all the time causes much inconvenience, wastefulness and risk," the latest edition of the Thoi Bao Kinh Te Saigon (Saigon Economic Times) weekly quoted Thuy as saying, before going on to admit he only ever uses cash himself.
