ECB member says central banks won't sway ECB

ECB Executive Board member Jose Manuel Gonzalez-Paramo said late on Thursday 23 June that although rate cuts are back on the agenda at major central banks, it would not influence the European Central Bank's monetary policy.

"It is a very important element to take into account, what other central banks are doing and what is the economic situation in these countries," Gonzalez-Paramo said at an international economics conference.
