France's Noyer on banknotes' stretch

Christian Noyer has answered the question that was on everyone's lips: Just how far would the 15bn euro banknotes stretch if laid end-to-end?

According to Noyer, who will soon replace ECB bound Jean-Claude Trichet as Governor of the Bank of France, the answer is that they would stretch from the earth to the moon five times.
