Bank disclosure currently inadequate

EUROPE - Survey reveals banks still have ground to make up to meet disclosure requirements.

ARTICLE - Disclosure requirements as envisaged by capital rules being drawn up under a revision of the "Basle 2" rules are due by the end of the year. Basle 2 is expected to go into law in most large countries by early 2004.
