Iran's central bank and Bundesbank hold talks

The head of Iran's central bank Ebrahim Sheybani and the President of the German Bundesbank Dr Axel Weber met in Frankfurt on Tuesday 12 April.

The talks focused on Iran`s efforts to privatise its banking system and the exchange of banking expertise.

Sheybani left Frankfurt on Tuesday evening for Washington D.C where he was to attend the joint annual summit of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
