U.S. German wages risks to German upturn - Welteke

GERMANY - European Central Bank council member Ernst Welteke said on Monday an upcoming wage round and uncertainty about the U.S. economy were risks to an upturn of the Germany economy.

"We're facing a relatively difficult wage round," Welteke told reporters in the side lines of a speech at a banking seminar. "Uncertainty surrounds economic developments in the United States."
