Colombia holds rates at 9.25%

The Banco de la Republica decided on Friday to keep its benchmark rate at 9.25%.

The central bank said that food prices had pushed inflation down in September, but that, for non-food items, prices had continued to rise.

"The board will continue to make careful revisions of both domestic and foreign economic developments and their impact on inflationary perspective and economic activity," the central bank said.
