BoE's Tucker gets second term on MPC

Paul Tucker, the executive director for markets at the Bank of England, is to serve a further three-year term on the Monetary Policy Committee.

Tucker, who joined the committee in June 2005, is one of only two members of the committee to have voted in line with the majority view on each occasion over the past year. Kate Barker, an external member of the committee, is the other member to have done so.
