Billie Jean, or is it Mervyn King?

The surname King will forever be remembered by tennis fans, but Bank of England governor Mervyn King is also a player we hear, as well as a darts fan.

Attending the prestigious American Economic Association's annual conference in sunny San Diego, California recently, King was mindful that he and Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan were both keen tennis players.

King - some two decades his counterpart's junior - was keen for a game on the Bank's grass tennis courts in London, saying "I may move
