Medina favorite for Bank of Israel post

Still with the Bank of Israel, it was reported that the chances of Victor Medina becoming central bank governor in January 2005 have increased after Prime Minister Ariel Sharon dropped his objections.

The incumbent Bank of Israel governor, David Klein, will apparently not be offered a second term when his current one ends in a year, according to a report from Haaretz.
