Russia and Denmark plan economic cooperation

DENMARK - A two-day conference devoted to problems of economic cooperation between Denmark and Russia is opening in Copenhagen today, 1 May.

ARTICLE - The Russo-Danish forum being held on the initiative of the Russian Duma committee for budget, taxation, banks and fiances and the Association of Russian banks has been held under the motto " Formation of the market economy. Present-day problems in the economic and financial fields".

The conference will be attended by Russian Transport Minister and co-chairman of the Russo-Danish intergovernment Council for economic cooperation Sergei Frank, Labour and Social Development Minister Alexander Pochinok, Central Bank Chairman Viktor Geraschenko, heads of Russia's largest banks and companies.

Chairman of the lower House of the Russian parliament Gennady Seleznyov has sent a message of greeting to participants in the Copenhagen economic forum.
