Colombian c bank report 2001 net income of $533.7m

COLOMBIA - The Colombian central bank posted 2001 net income of 1.22 trillion pesos ($533.7 million), officials said.

The proceeds should be transferred to the government next month.

The 2001 results were made public Monday, after the Central Bank's board of directors met in Bogota.

Officials said the Central Bank's 2001 revenues came in at 1.85 trillion pesos ($806.7 million).
