The Executive Directors of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed on 14 August to consolidate the joint 56th Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors on 30 September, 2001 in Washington, D.C. The meetings of the IMF's International Monetary and Financial Committee and the World Bank-IMF Development Committee will take place on 29 September 2001.
