Poland to join euro zone in 2007- finance minister

Finance Minister Grzegorz Kolodko reiterated that Poland could meet Maastricht convergence criteria in 2005 and join the euro zone in 2007.

If it meets formal Maastricht convergence criteria which may take place no earlier than in 2005. Then we could put the euro in circulation starting from 2007. There is still a chance for this," Kolodko said.
