Report says Argentina to relax forex controls

The Argentine central bank will try gradually to lift controls imposed on foreign exchange transactions, daily La Nacion reported, without naming sources.

According to the report, the central bank's new president, Martin Redrado, has taken the decision to introduce changes to the forex regime as soon as the restructuring of Argentina's private debt in default is completed and once the loan programme with the IMF is re-implemented.
