BSP deputy governor Reyes retires

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas deputy governor Alberto V. Reyes retired from his post as head of the Supervision and Examination Sector this week, a post he had held for ten years.

As the man in charge of banking regulation and surveillance, Reyes, who turned 65 this week, was described by the banking sector he regulates as a tough but respected official.
