Japan vice finance minister praises BOJ move

The Bank of Japan's decision to further relax its ultra loose monetary policy gained support from the government on Thursday with Vice Finance Minister Masakazu Hayashi saying he hoped the move would have a positive effect on the economy.

Japanese Vice Finance Minister Masakazu Hayashi praised the central bank on Thursday for its surprise decision a day earlier to ease monetary policy and said he hoped it would help the economy recover from a decade-long slump.
